I trained as a Breastfeeding Counsellor with the National Childbirth Trust and The University of Worcester in the UK. I am qualified to offer support, help and information on most aspects of breastfeeding and lactation. I am also trained to teach antenatal breastfeeding classes. My previous background in medical research benefits my understanding of new scientific information in breastfeeding. I have recently completed (in 2019) a comprehensive lactation course for Health Professionals and I am a member of the College of Lactation Consultants WA Inc.
I am a mother with two teenage boys. Sometimes family commitments mean that I may only be able to speak briefly on the phone and may need to return your call at a more convenient time. Please don’t let this deter you from calling. I am happy to receive calls between 8am and 9pm on any day.
